InstaVR clients can preview their in-progress apps without packaging them, saving time and increasing productivity
SAN FRANCISCO, CA
InstaVR, Inc., a virtual reality (VR) authoring, publishing, and analysis company, announced today the launch of Live Previewer, a new feature that allows users to experience in-progress apps on their native platforms, without packaging.
Previously, clients had to package and download their VR applications to get a true sense of the end user experience. While authoring or editing the app, repeated packaging would slow down the overall app creation process.
Live Previewer enables InstaVR users to view their work-in-progress apps on native platforms, without packaging, as they do the actual authoring. This allows creators to adjust and improve their VR experiences in a more timely fashion. They can also gather real-time feedback on end user experience when collaborating on a project with others.
To use Live Previewer, InstaVR clients merely have to download the Preview App, scan a unique QR code, and then continue authoring while viewing the changes in real-time on their mobile device or in their VR headset. Live Previewer currently works on iOS, Android, and Gear VR.
“Our mission is to simplify and improve the VR app creation process,” said Daniel Haga, Founder and CEO of InstaVR. “Live Previewer allows our clients to more quickly and effectively author applications, without having to deal with packaging bottlenecks. As the speed of app creation increases, so too does the productivity of our clients.”
