Anyone Can Make VR Apps for Daydream in Minutes Without Coding By Using InstaVR
(May 19, 2017, Mountain View, CA) InstaVR, Inc., a virtual reality (VR) authoring, publishing, and analysis company, announced today the availability of single-click Daydream publishing. The virtual reality platform and headset, manufactured and owned by the VR division of Google, is offering a fresh take on mobile VR by effectively simplifying access to VR content on mobile devices.
Previously, InstaVR clients could publish across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, Web, Gear VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive with a single-click in the web dashboard. Adding Daydream as an available publishing outlet extends InstaVR’s leadership in providing a one-stop location for VR content creators looking to design and distribute VR applications.
InstaVR also offers compatibility with the remote controller included in the Daydream Headset, which allows users to interact with apps without having to tap the side of the headset. End users can interact with VR experiences using gaze-based navigation and remote controller-based navigation simultaneously.
InstaVR’s users can publish higher resolution and longer VR experiences for Daydream than they can for traditional mobile VR platforms (iOS/Android). This is particularly valuable for important sales presentations, conference exhibitions, and long-form 360 video applications. InstaVR customers can also leverage recent product enhancements such as spatial audio and cubemap compatibility when authoring their Daydream apps.
“The Daydream team strived to create a central platform for viewing VR that is easily accessible to most, very much like InstaVR strives to make the VR creation process an easily accessible, one-stop location for content creators” said Daniel Haga, Founder and CEO of InstaVR. “We’re very happy to announce our new publishing compatibility with Daydream. It gives our most enthusiastic InstaVR clients an additional outlet to display their VR applications, one that is perfectly suited for their high-quality VR experiences.”
