InstaVR Launches Single-Click Publishing to
Oculus Quest and Rift S, Including
World-Class Touch Interactivity
Easily Create and Distribute Immersive 3D Applications to the Oculus Platforms without Coding
San Jose, CA – May 1, 2019 – InstaVR Inc (https://www.instavr.co), a virtual reality (VR) authoring, publishing, and analysis company, today launched Oculus Rift S and Oculus Quest publishing compatibility, including the ability to interact with 3D environments using Touch controllers.
Facebook’s Oculus division will start shipping this month the Oculus Rift S and Oculus Quest, high-quality VR headsets that enable 6 Degrees of Freedom (6 DoF) movement and interactivity through powerful hand controllers.
With InstaVR, you can already utilize a wide variety of 3D file formats, including FBX, OBJ, and VRML. After publishing to the Oculus Rift S or Quest with a single-click from InstaVR, users can be transported in their headsets to immersive digital environments. Touch interaction is automatically enabled when 3D models are deployed, allowing for maximum interactivity.
InstaVR clients can also publish new or existing standard 360-degree image and video-based applications to Oculus Rift S and Quest headsets. Existing InstaVR features including Success Reports are compatible with the new publishing outlets too.
“Our clients create immersive, interactive VR applications that are integral to their businesses,” said Daniel Haga, CEO and Founder of InstaVR. “We’re very happy to provide publishing compatibility with these two new exciting Oculus platforms, which we expect many of our forward-thinking clients to utilize.”
Popular use cases for these new robust VR publishing outlets include employee training, employee recruitment, sales & marketing presentations, and client communications.
InstaVR 3D application publishing to Oculus Rift S and Quest, including Touch interactivity, is part of the InstaVR Enterprise subscription.
