- InstaVR supports mono spherical, stereo spherical and stereo cubic 360 panorama image. For mono spherical & stereo spherical 360 panorama, image needs to be uploaded in the equirectangular panorama format, which is a widely used format supported by many capture devices/solutions.
- 360° Mono Spherical Panorama – uses a single pano.
- 360° Stereo Spherical Panorama – uses two stacked panos.
- Stereo Cubic: 12 x 1 Cubemaps – uses rendered panorama from 3DCG software such as Autodesk A360.
- Stereo Cubic: 6 x 2 Cubemaps – uses rendered panorama from 3DCG software such as Autodesk A360.
- For highest compatibility and performance, we recommend you use “jpeg” image format for improved compression and image dimension with powers of two (e.g. 2048 or 4096).
- Mono images should be 2:1 aspect ratio (e.g. 4096 X 2048).
- Stereo images should be 1:1 aspect ratio (e.g. 4096 X 4096).
- InstaVR is compatible with 360 stereo cubic panoramas rendered from various 3DCG software such as Autodesk A360, Lumion, OTOY OctaneRender, VRay, etc. now.
